02 / Formats

Three tournament formats

One draw engine, three modes. The league picks the right format depending on the player count and available weekends.

01

Swiss league

No knockout. Play every round.

After each round opponents are paired by similar score. Everyone plays every round — no one is eliminated by a single loss. Winner has the highest total.

  • — Duration: 4–6 weeks
  • — Players: 16–32
  • — Rounds: 5–7
  • — Best for: main season, mixed skill
02

Traditional league

Everyone plays everyone.

Classic round-robin: inside a group every pair plays exactly one match. The fairest format — no luck of the draw. Players split into skill-based groups.

  • — Duration: 6–8 weeks
  • — Players: 6–10 per group
  • — Rounds: N − 1
  • — Best for: stable rating, small groups
03

One-day tournament

One day, one champion.

Single-elimination bracket: lose and you are out. A fast weekend format, up to 4 rounds from first match to final. Perfect for visitors and mixed teams.

  • — Duration: 1 day
  • — Players: 8–16
  • — Rounds: 3–4
  • — Best for: one-off events, play-off
